A major update – one workbook with Light and Dark themes, a Day / Week / Month Gantt with milestones and true progress bars, new deadline alerts, editable status thresholds and much faster recalculation.

• NewLight / Dark mode switch – a 🌙 Dark checkbox in the Dashboard title bar re-themes the whole dashboard. Replaces the separate Dark edition.
• NewGantt Timeline Scale – Day, Week or Month view (63 days, ~14 months or ~5 years) with a scale-aware header (months/years, week numbers or quarters).
• NewMilestones – enter 0 working days to add a milestone: ◆ done, ◇ upcoming, ◆ missed on the Gantt; ★ in the task list.
• NewDone / Behind / Remaining bars – green for completed work, coral when a task is behind schedule, slate for work still to do; Light and Dark variants.
• New⏰ Upcoming Deadlines panel – unfinished tasks due in the next 14 days (configurable), with days left and owner. Overdue list now shows the top 8 plus a “+ n more” note.
• NewGantt load strip – counts Active Tasks, Tasks Due or Due & Pending per day, week or month, colour-scaled, with a Timeline row dropdown and a ‘Showing a–b of n tasks’ caption.
• NewStatus Thresholds in Settings – Amber / Red RAG gaps, Behind tolerance, Upcoming window and Light / Normal workload limits, all with input checks.
• NewProgress Display option – traffic-light icons or green data bars for %Completed.
• NewTask ID column in the Tasks table; Project ID and Employee ID moved to the first column of Projects and Resource.
• NewAll option in the Project, Team Member and Task Status filters; the filter cell is highlighted when a real filter is applied.
• NewGantt bar colour legend, milestone legend and coloured ● status dots in the task list.
• ImprovedWorks in Excel 2016 and later – Overdue and Upcoming lists and the weekend calendar no longer need FILTER, SORT, SEQUENCE or CONCAT; supports Excel 2016, 2019, 2021, 2024 and Microsoft 365 (Windows & Mac).
• ImprovedFaster recalculation – volatile OFFSET lookups replaced with INDEX, helper rows for the Gantt and much lighter conditional formatting.
• ImprovedGantt opens near today when All Projects is selected; project filter opens at the project start.
• ImprovedCompleted-bar shading now counts working days, and a period only turns green when its work is fully done.
• ImprovedProject End date is the latest task end date (respects weekends and holidays).
• ImprovedLight horizontal row lines, banded rows in both themes, softer status colours and a tidier footer.
• ImprovedInput validation on Days Required (0–3650) and Progress (0–100%); clear ‘No tasks match the filters’ messages when nothing is selected.
